2008 Educational Scholarship Application

 

Each year the Venture Club of Phoenix awards a scholarship to a woman needing financial assistance to pursue their educational goals.  If you are interested in applying for this scholarship, please download the application and submit it with the requested essay.

 

All applications should be typed, double-spaced and no more than 3 pages. Please address the following items in your essay:

  • The reason you are applying for the funds (indicate financial need)
  • Your educational goals or aspirations
  • How the funds will make a difference in reaching your goals
  • An example of something you have done that demonstrates your commitment to education, self-improvement or bettering the community

The application deadline is May 30, 2008.  All nominees will be notified of the status of their application by Friday, June 6th.  The winner will be invited to attend a recognition dinner on Tuesday, June 17, 2008.  The scholarship funds will be mailed directly to the winner’s educational institution.
